small issue in rsunc 3.0.0 pre6

I was running an rsync (local) to duplicate a big tree when I saw this

       14366 100%   16.94kB/s    0:00:00 (xfer#2357808, to-check=-481/5079231)

Notice the negative number after "to-check".

I don't think this is a big issue, but it exists.
