This looks to resolve the issues on HP-UX with largefile support and
the mkstemp() system call by using mktemp() instead and issuing a
configure-time warning.  For the first time that I can remember, rsync
works on HP-UX out of the box.  Nice work!

You may want to include the attached optional largefiles test that I
wrote in the test suite, just in case other platforms have this
problem or if HP breaks mktemp() in the future.  It requires a
specific environment variable to be set, much like the ssh tests. 
(Now that ssh is the default, should those tests be non-optional?)
