Need help with rsync

Hi,



Trying to configure rsync , Here r the details:

OS:Solaris 9
rsync :rsync  version 2.6.3  protocol version 28

Problem :Locally copyng files using rsync works fine.r sync fails when
i try to copy files over to the other machine
:

rsync /export/home/amg/* amg at coesun05:/export/home/amg
amg at coesun05's password: 
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far)
[sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(359)


Need help to resove the issue
