JPEG files not copying over cleanly

I am:
 
using cwrsync
 
rsync -raW --stats --progress host::location/ /cygdrive/s/xxxx/xxxx/
 
between a windows 2000 server and another windows 2000 server.
 
I have done this successfully on another set of same machines.
 
However, my JPEG files don't seem to be completely copying, they are
corrupt or give a red-x broken-link symbol when opening in IE 6.0.

Any thoughts on what I am missing here.  It's got to be really obvious
or really difficult and I'm guessing it's really obvious.
