rsync on Win 2000

I've browsed the archives and the docs, but I haven't found this.

I want to install rsync daemon on windows 2000.  I've got the 2.4.5 binary
from ftp.minn.net as described on the web site, but I'm trying to use the
cygwin tool cygrunsrv to install rather than srvany, as I don't have access
to the nt reskit.  Has anyone done this?
