more info for rsyncs not exiting problem

My rsycn version is:

rsync version 2.4.6 Copyright Andrew Tridgell and Paul Mackerras

And my OS is:

Red Hat Linux release 7.1 (Seawolf)
Kernel 2.4.2-2 on an i686
