Regarding CVS Commit

Hi all,

   I am new to this list. I am implementing Version Controlling on Stratus 
Mainframe systems. V-Series with VOS 15.1.2an.

I have cvs-1.11.1p1 prebuilt binary installed in my system.

I am able to checkout and import the files, but while committing it gives 
the error like:

cvs [commit aborted]: unexpected '\x40' reading revision number in RCS 
file <complete_repositry_file_path>

Please help me in this case.
