The list only allows plain text emails[*1]... (looking at your
headers[*2]) you have Thunderbird set to send HTML to the list - so it
sends both plain text *and* HTML, only the plain text is relayed (and
attachments stripped out).

NOTE: under Server Settings/Composition and Addressing for your email
account (in Thunderbird) you can select the default format of HTML (or
unselect it).

If you look in the Thunderbird Contacts for this list you can set the
"prefers to recieve messages formatted as..." (plain text or HTML).
