One thing to be aware of: the ExpressCard slot has two connectors, one PCI
express with hotplug, and one USB 2.0.  A whole lot of the ExpressCard devices
are actually *USB* devices, not PCIe.

You may be looking in the wrong place — or, perhaps not.  I don't really know
much beyond that basic fact, but I figure it can't hurt to tell you what you
already know. ;)
