IBM bought Lotus many years ago, but I'm sure someone's already mentioned
this. IBM uses Lotus notes clients and Domino servers for many things,
including email...it is highly configurable and is designed from the ground
up to handle large amounts of information...unlike Outlook. Anyone who has
dealt with large PST files truncating themselves knows what I mean.

Having said that, they are each painful to use in their own separate,
special ways...choose your email client/groupware, and you choose your known
issues and design annoyances along with it.
