Hi Jeff,

Thanks. Just after the plain old EeePC 1000.
AFAIK, the 1000HD has a Celeron CPU and the 1000H comes with a
non-flash HDD and Windows.

Asus really has been sucked in my Microsoft, haven't they? Adverts
above all EeePCs read either "Asus recommends Windows for everyday
computing", or "Asus recommends Windows Vista Business..".
