Nah, not without a _heap_ of stuffing around, and a fair bit of kernel
coding/patching knowledge.

Go with something that is already supported on the distribution you intend
to use (FC4, or Ubuntu would be my recommendations for mythtv at present) -
it will save you a lot of heartache.
