[clug] nVidia nForce2 chipset and MII-tool?

Just a quick question... has anyone here had any success in getting  
"mii-tool" to talk to the built-in Ethernet found on the nVidia  
nForce2 chipset?

The results I get:

SIOCGMIIPHY on 'eth0' failed: Operation not supported
eth1: negotiated 100baseTx-FD, link ok

Is that lack of support for SIOCGMIIPHY due to the driver, the  
chipset, or something else entirely?
