[clug] wireless hardware recommendations

My in-laws are embracing technology, and want a wireless PPPoE-capable
router for the house and to firewall and NAT behind TransACT.

Can anyone recommend any routers and PCI/PCMCIA cards?  I'm specifically
concerned about:
- signal strength - has to get through a few internal walls, across
maybe 20m
- easy admin
- reliable security
- Windows (sorry) compatibility

I'd lean towards the Linksys WRT54G, but mainly because of the Linux
bias and the hackability, which is not high on their list, though I
don't know how the signal strength compares.

So any recommendations?
