[clug] USB Disk support under Woody

I was[1] running 2.4.x and Woody on a laptop and using USB
mass storage, gphoto2, hotplug etc. etc. and it all
worked OK. I wasn't use a packaged Debian kernel though.

I think I ended up grabbing a few .debs (such as hotplug)
that weren't in Woody and installed them using dpkg.

[1] Said laptop was recently bumped up to Sarge.

Debian Kernel 2.4.26+ works well with USB & supports hotplug.
Think you can upgrade the kernel without forcing everything 'up'.
