This seems to be a 'chink' in the armour...  Wonder where it will lead.
Anyone remember GOSIP?? Govt OSI Profile - common govt. subset of OSI for comms. &
purchasing
Only there was 2 groups headed by the USA & UK.
Australia was really torn - we ended up following  the UK.
I think at the end of 95 or 96 the US Govt came to their senses and declared
TCP/IP to be GOSIP compliant - game over.  Never debated/discussed again.  All
Govts [including ours] just quitely started using IP everywhere...
