Um, that would make it a touchphone 200 (not 2000).  There was actually
several models of those, and iirc not all of them were affected.

The problem (for those who don't know) is that it drew power from the
phone line to keep the memory for the preset numbers refreshed.  Most
modems detected the resulting voltage drop as a hangup or other
unrecoverable problem, and took the appropriate action.
